GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Yousef Rizqa, the political advisor to premier Ismail Haneyya, stated Saturday that the least that the Arab summit can do for the Palestinian people, who defended the dignity of Arabs and Muslims, is to break the siege on the Gaza Strip and open the crossings especially the Rafah border crossing. In an exclusive statement to the PIC, Dr. Rizqa underlined that the Palestinian government looks to this summit with optimistic eyes despite the state of despair that hunts the Palestinian citizen as a result of the failure of the previous summits in helping the Palestinians. The advisor stressed, in another context, that the disclosure of an Israeli attack on a Sudanese area means that the danger does not only threaten Palestine, but also the entire Arab nation which requires a responsible Arab resolution to confront this threat. In a ceremony held to honor the martyrs of the last Israeli war on Gaza, Dr. Rizqa said that the Palestinian government mulls the adoption of a vision to reconstruct Gaza called the "resistance reconstruction" according to which the government will pay fully the financial losses of those affected by the Israeli war so that they can build their own homes and real estate in the way that suits them. |
