Mishaal: We'll build national authority for the Palestinians at home and abroad

DOHA, (PIC)-- Khaled Mishaal, the head of the Hamas political bureau, stated Wednesday in Qatar that his Movement would embark on building a national authority referred to by the Palestinian people at home and abroad and involving all national forces and trends.

During a ceremony held in Doha to celebrate the victory of Gaza, Mishaal said that there could be no reconciliation while the Palestinian people inside and outside are left without a national authority representing them, adding that the PLO, which Hamas is banned from joining or rebuilding, is impotent and an instrument of division.

He underlined that Hamas and other Palestinian resistance factions welcome dialog and reconciliation but on the basis of the national constants and not according to foreign agendas.

The Hamas leader said that any invitation for reconciliation would lose its credibility in light of the political arrests, the closure of national institutions and the coordination with the occupation, adding that those who want reconciliation must provide the appropriate climate and show good intentions.

"I say clearly, after the blood of Gaza, the coordination in the West Bank with the enemy, that committed massacres against our people in the Strip, is nationally unacceptable. It is an enemy, not a neighbor or a normal party," Mishaal highlighted.

He pointed out that the statement which says that Israel withdrew from Gaza in deference to the will of the world is untrue and unjust because the Israeli occupation was aware that the cost of its aggression and invasion would be dearly.

The Hamas leader considered the victory of Gaza as the beginning of the liberation of Palestine, adding that the battle is still going on politically and militarily, and the Palestinian resistance has not yet put down their weapons.

Mishaal outlined a number of urgent issues which, he said, are on the agenda of Hamas for the next stage including the reconstruction file, noting that the criterion of success in this file is that the funds should reach every Palestinian in Gaza not the pockets of corrupt parties.

The Hamas leader declared his rejection of the Israeli ceasefire conditions, confirming that his Movement would not accept the equation of opening the crossings in exchange for Israeli captive soldier Gilad Shalit.

He explained that the release of Shalit could be achieved through the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and the truce equation could be fulfilled through lifting the siege and opening the crossings.

Olmert tells Mitchell: Gaza should return to Abbas's rule

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Ehud Olmert, the Israeli premier, has told the American envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell that the PA leadership in Ramallah led by Mahmoud Abbas, the former PA chief, should return to rule the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli official quoted Olmert as saying that following the Israeli war on Gaza the Hamas authority should be eliminated and the PA in Ramallah should restore power in the Strip.

Olmert also told Mitchell that permanent opening of all Gaza crossings was hinged on releasing the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who is held captive in Gaza by Palestinian resistance factions.

The Israeli premier said that the ceasefire that went into effect as of 18/1/2009 would be evaluated in accordance with the halt in firing of locally made rockets on Israeli targets and a halt to the smuggling of weapons. He said that if Hamas fired

Al-Ghoul: Israeli war on Gaza was the biggest holocaust in history

GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian parliament member MP Mohammed Faraj Al-Ghoul, of Hamas Movement, has described the Israeli war on Gaza as the biggest holocaust in history, adding that his government would chase Israeli war criminals and file lawsuits against them.

Ghoul's remarks were uttered as he received a Moroccan Parliamentary delegation visiting the PLC building that was flattened to ground in an Israeli air strike on it during the war on Gaza.

He also hailed the Moroccan people and lawmakers for the sympathy and support they have demonstrated with the Palestinian people during the monstrous Israeli war on the Strip.

For their part, the Moroccan lawmakers praised their Palestinian counterparts, saying they were happy to visit Gaza and to meet Hamas's representatives, stressing unity and solidarity of the Moroccan people with their Palestinian brothers, disclosing a number of steps they are planning to take against the Israeli officials who were involved in the brutal onslaught.

Meanwhile, Israeli war minister Ehud Barak was reportedly preparing to fly to the USA to meet with US officials, and to buy new US sophisticated weapons in order to use them against the Palestinian people.

Local and military observers confirmed that the Israeli occupation government has turned the entire Gaza inhabitants into an experiment fields to test new American weapons.

The Hebrew Haaretz newspaper confirmed the plan of Barak, saying he would try to purchase new bombs that would explode in air and turn into smaller bombs that could destroy bobby-trapped places.

According to the paper, the Israeli occupation army had used this kind of bombs in the war on Gaza that destroyed complete villages and suburbs, adding that Barak would also discuss the US-Israeli pact that was signed by Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni, and her US counterpart Condoleezza Rice a coupe of weeks ago in Washington with the aim to abort weapon smuggling into the tiny Strip.

Hamas and the West:
In an unrelated matter, the French L'umonde newspaper revealed that the Israeli war on Gaza produced new facts on the ground, including the firm strength and popularity of Hamas Movement in the Palestinian street.

It also revealed that the French government was pressuring the European Union to be more flexible with Hamas, and to try to listen to it being the group that was elected by the great majority of the Palestinian people in 2006.

Furthermore, the paper disclosed that there were strong disputes among the EU countries on whether to sideline Hamas or to talk and listen to it, adding that the French government opines that EU talks with Hamas would help peace and stability in the region.

French delegation confirms Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza

PARIS, (PIC)-- A French delegation visited Gaza last week affirmed that Israel committed real war crimes in the Gaza Strip and called for the establishment of an international investigation committee in this regard and for the suspension of the European partnership agreement with Israel.

The delegation which included MP Francis Wurz and mayor of Bagnolet city Marc Everbecq had visited Gaza on the 21st of this month.

In a conference held Monday by the delegation members in Paris, MP Wurz said that what the delegation saw did not look like effects of confrontation between two warring parties, but it was a massacre claimed the lives of hundreds of unarmed civilians in conjunction with the destruction of residential neighborhoods and the displacement of thousands of residents.

The lawmaker underlined that the delegation had an unwavering belief that Israel committed war crimes in Gaza after they listened to several testimonies and obtained definitive evidence proving that the IOF troops executed dozens of Palestinian civilians and used white phosphorus against others.

The lawmaker noted that the perpetrators of such crimes can not in any way escape punishment, stressing the need to establish an international investigation committee leading to the prosecution of those involved in war crimes in the international criminal court regardless of their ranks or offices.

The lawmaker also revealed his intention to submit a report about the delegation's visit to Gaza to the speaker of the European parliament, pointing that a large number of the parliament members support the idea of suspending the partnership agreement between the European union and Israel until it respects the international humanitarian law and accepts the implementation of relevant UN resolutions.

For his part, mayor of Bagnolet Marc Everbecq condemned the position of those who compare Al-Qassam rockets with the huge arsenal of Israeli weapons, asserting that what he saw proved clearly that Israel did not target Hamas, but wanted to crush the Gaza citizens.

Everbecq added that the IOF troops used Palestinian civilians as human shields during their confrontations with the resistance fighters.

The department of primary care in the health ministry said in a report received by the PIC that Israel bombed more than 33 clinics belonging to the ministry during its war on Gaza.

The department stressed that the deliberate bombing of its clinics revealed the viciousness of the Israeli occupation and its outrageous lack of respect for the international conventions which criminalize any attacks on health institutions during wars.

UNRWA: Israeli war on Gaza continuation of siege

CAIRO, (PIC)-- Filippo Grandi, the deputy commissioner general of UNRWA, has told a conference in Cairo that the Israeli war on Gaza was not a new phenomenon but rather a continuation of the Israeli policy of besieging the Strip since mid 2007.

Grandi, speaking at the inauguration of the 81st conference for supervisors of Palestinian refugees in host Arab countries that opened in the Arab League premises on Cairo on Sunday, said that the war was an escalatory step in the Israeli siege policy.

He pointed to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's visit to the Strip for the first time and his declared regret at the destruction caused to the UNRWA sites.

Grandi stressed that the Israeli aggression had greatly harmed the infrastructure and all life utilities in the Gaza Strip including electricity and water and the losses reached unprecedented figures, and added that even UNRWA warehouses were targeted.

The UN official said that what was destroyed could be repaired but the problem remains with the children who suffered enormously as a result of the loss of their relatives or colleagues.

He said that the UN investigation into the destruction of UNRWA premises and schools should be expedited.

Israeli poll: Killing Palestinians shortest way to winning elections

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- An Israeli opinion poll has displayed that the shortest way to win general elections in Israel was to kill the biggest possible number of Palestinians.

The poll published by Hebrew daily Ha'aretz on Sunday indicated that the right wing parties in Israel would secure 64 seats in any current elections, which would bring Benjamin Netanyahu to the premiership.

The Israeli war minister Ehud Barak also enjoyed soaring popularity with 70% favoring him in the poll after the war on Gaza while before the war his popularity was only 53%, the paper noted.

Israeli foreign minister and leader of the Kadima party Tzipi Livni had warned that a new Israeli government with Netanyahu as premier would be on a collision course with the new American administration.

Meanwhile, the same paper said that a number of issues were not solved yet despite the end of the war on Gaza, explaining that the issue of arms smuggling and that of the captive soldier Gilad Shalit were not resolved.

Economic sanctions imposed on Gaza before the war did not benefit in changing Hamas's demands for the release of more than a thousand prisoners from Israeli jails, the paper added.

HRW accuses Israel, PA, and Egypt of suppressing pro-Gaza rallies

AMMAN, (PIC)-- Human Rights Watch has accused the Israeli occupation government, the PA in Rammallah city, and Egypt of banning peaceful rallies in support of Gaza Strip, describing such action as "absurd and illegal".

The international group asserted that people should be given the freedom to express their feelings towards certain events in a peaceful way, which wasn’t permitted in some countries in the Middle East.

"Peaceful demonstrations are an essential element of democratic societies and the basic right of every citizen," said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch.

She added, "Middle Eastern regimes are throwing one symbolic shoe at Israel while using the other shoe to strike at domestic dissent."

HRW also said in its report that news reports accused the PA in the West Bank of banning pro-Hamas demonstrations shortly after Israel started its attacks on Gaza.

"Al Jazeera reported that on January 2, PA officials arrested demonstrators in Ramallah for waving Hamas flags, and clashed with student protesters in Bir Zeit on January 6. After the midday prayer on January 9, PA police in Ramallah fired tear gas to disperse a crowd of some 4,000 people, according to Al Jazeera."

HRW also accused Israeli occupation of banning peaceful protests in the West Bank, the injury of one protestor and the report of a possible killing of a demonstrator.

In Egypt, the influential Muslim Brotherhood, which is the largest opposition group in Egypt, has reported that 860 of its members have been arrested in recent days in connection with demonstrations protesting Israeli actions in Gaza. A January 16 demonstration in Tanta, north of Cairo, reportedly drew 15,000 participants. Police arrested eight journalists and beat some of them on December 31 while they were covering a demonstration in support of Gaza in Cairo's Tahrir Square. They were later released.

Also in Cairo police on January 16 prevented a planned demonstration near the US embassy and arrested some activists gathering near the embassy. In the Sinai Peninsula.

Jordan, Saudi, Tunisia and Iran were also criticized by the HRW for denying their citizens the right to hold peaceful protests regarding the events in Gaza.

WJC: We must finish off Hamas first before going to a two-state solution

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The World Jewish Congress is holding its 13 th general meeting on Monday and Tuesday in the occupied city of Jerusalem, which indicates that the Israeli occupation government was intensifying judaization programs in the city.

Around 400 persons representing more than 80 Jewish organizations world-wide are attending the meeting, which, according to the organizers, aims to demonstrate solidarity with Israel in its war on Gaza.

More than 1330 innocent Palestinian citizens in Gaza Strip, the bulk of them were children and women, were brutally killed during the 23-day Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza.

WJC president Roland Lauder said that the meeting in Jerusalem aimed at extending our full support to the "people of Israel", and to let them feel that they weren’t alone in confronting the Islamic attacks that threatens the existence of Israel.

A spokesman of the WJC alleged that the the organization's vision for peace was built on two states, Palestinian and Israeli that coexist side-by side in peace, but, he added, this needs first to get rid of Hamas, defeat it, and strip it of weapons to ensure Israel's security.

He also opined that anti-semantic waves were growing in European capitals, explaining that the WJC would ask European countries to deal with such orientations firmly.

Hebrew sources revealed that Israeli president Shimon Peres, Israeli premier Ehuld Olmert, Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni, and Likud party leader Binyamin Netanyahu will address the meeting.

For their part, Muslim leaders in Palestine, including Sheikh Raed Salah among other scholars condemned holding the meeting in Jerusalem, describing such step as "grave threat" to Jerusalem's Muslim identity.

"This (WJC meeting in Jerusalem) is part of the Israeli plan to judaize the city; and those who are accusing others of terrorism were themselves the real terrorists.. those who tear bodies of young children and women in Gaza were indeed the real terrorists", asserted Sheikh Ekrema Sabri, the president of the supreme Muslim council.

Both Muslim leaders warned that Arabs and Muslims should act now to block the vicious Israeli schemes in the city.

European MPs call for playing active role in rebuilding Gaza

[

BRUSSELS, (PIC)-- European lawmakers have urged the presidency of the European parliament to play an active role in reconstructing the Gaza Strip which sustained massive destruction during 23 days of Israeli aggression.

During the meeting British lawmaker Jenny Tonge underlined that the European union should speak with all parties in the Palestinian arena without exception especially since the current situation of destruction and displacement needs swift handling.

92 Mosques destroyed by occupation, 41 completely

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Minister of Awqaf (Endowments) in the PA legitimate government in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation completely destroyed 41 mosques, and partially destroyed 51 others in the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Taleb Abu Shaer said during a press conference in Gaza city that 19 mosques were destroyed in the northern Gaza Strip, 16 mosques in Gaza city, two mosques in the central Gaza Strip, two mosques in Khan Younis, and two in the Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

He also said that 51 other mosques were partially destroyed with varying degrees, some of them cannot be used pointing out that the barbarian occupation was not content with bombing mosques, they deliberately bombed some mosques during prayer times while they were full of worshipers.

He also said that the destruction of mosques unveils the ugly face of the Israeli occupation and points to its war Islam symbolised by the mosques, as when the occupation targets mosques it targets the role of those mosques in shaping the identity and personality of the people.

He stressed that Israeli occupation claims that Hamas had hidden arms in those mosques was baseless asking: "were are the arms they claimed were hidden in those mosques?"

He added that the made the same ridiculous claim to justify the destruction of homes, schools, health centres and government buildings.

Again he questioned this excuse to justify the destruction of mosques: "Has the resistance run out of space to store arms in mosques? Mosques are not suitable for such use anyway."

In addition to targeting mosques, the Israeli occupation also fired rockets close to mosques to force Palestinian worshipers to abandon those mosques.

On top of targeting mosques and worshipers the Israeli occupation also targeted cemeteries. Five cemeteries were bombed in the Gaza Strip, three of them in Gaza city, one in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, and another in the northern Gaza Strip.

He called on religious groups all over the world to take a brave stand against the targeting of places of worship and cemeteries.

He also called for an investigation of this aggression on places of worship and treat it as a war crime the perpetrators of which should face prosecution.

Zio-Nazi regime hopes world will forget Gaza genocide soon

a victim of Israel’s white Phosphor shells
Khalid Amayreh from Occupied Palestine

With the holocaust-like Israeli onslaught in Gaza entering its fourth week, and with thousands of Palestinian civilians mercilessly killed and maimed by the Israeli war machine while hundreds others still buried under rubble, Israel is planning a public relations campaign aimed at “making the world forget the bad images” from Gaza very soon.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry this week contacted an American PR firm requesting a “detailed PR plan” that would enhance Israel’s image following the Gaza blitz .

Some military experts have compared the rampant havoc wreaked on Gaza with conditions in the German City of Dresden following the devastating aerial bombings by the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the closing weeks of the Second World War.

According to the Israeli press, the Israeli Foreign Ministry Hasbara (propaganda) department has created a special task force to prepare for the aftermath of the Israeli blitz in Gaza.

The Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz said the task force would be charged with repairing damage to Israel’s image.

“The working assumption is that Israel has suffered a blow to its image in the West in the wake of heavy civilian casualties in the Strip.”

Palestinian activists and human rights organizations operating in occupied Palestine have released gruesome images of hundreds of badly mutilated children killed or maimed by the continuing Israeli aerial bombing and artillery bombardment of residential areas.

Palestinian officials have described the ongoing Israeli offensive as a real holocaust.

“What Israel is doing to the Palestinians in Gaza is a real holocaust. Israel is murdering civilians en mass, destroying homes, mosques and public institutions,” said Ismael Haniya, the Prime Minister of the Hamas government during a speech on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Palestinian hospital sources of more than 1100 Palestinians, mostly children and other innocent civilians, killed and over 5000 people injured, many critically, as a result of the wanton bombings by Israeli F-16 fighters.

Israel has been using excessively disproportionate fire power, including Bunker buster bombs and White Phosphor shells, against a totally defenseless civilian population.

The Israeli paper said Israeli officials were worried that “negative sentiment” toward Israel would grow the moment the full picture of the Israeli blitz emerged.

Israeli hasbara officials have recommended several steps aimed at enhancing Israel’s image, including the intensive involvement of the Israeli army in facilitating the transfer of food and medicine to the bombed-out inhabitants of Gaza.

One Israeli press officer reportedly recommended the employment of the so-called “ candy tactic” as an “image booster.” The “candy tactic” takes the form of filming Israeli soldiers while giving candies to Palestinian kids, especially after the perpetration of an especially-terrible massacre.

Non the less, Israeli sources admit that no matter how effective Israeli hasbara efforts could be, the shocking reality on the ground in Gaza will be proven indelible.

This is why the Israeli foreign ministry is suggesting that the Jewish state embark on a reactivated peace process with the Palestinian Authority (PA).

PCHR condemns Israeli response to death of Reuters cameraman by an IOF missile

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR), in a statement on Thursday, condemned the official response of the Israeli military Advocate-General to the death of a Reuters cameraman and three other civilians, including two children, who were killed in Juhor al-Dik in the central Gaza Strip.

The cameraman, Fadel Shana’a, and the other civilians were killed by an Israeli tank crew, who, according to Israeli military advocate-general, Brigadier General Avihai Mendelblit, acted properly and will therefore not face any legal action for killing these four unarmed civilians.

PCHR pointed out that "this response once again underlines the chronic failure of the State of Israel and its Occupation Forces to conducts proper investigations into the hundreds of crimes they have committed against Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT)."

The statement also said that the IOF killed 9 journalists and injured at least 170 journalists since the start of the second intifada in September 2000.

On Tuesday, 12 August, Reuters news agency received a letter from Brigadier General Avihai Mendelblit, in which he stated that the Israeli troops in Juhor Al-Dik could not see whether Fadel Shana’a was operating a camera or brandishing a weapon. In his letter to Reuters, Mendelblit claimed that “The tank crew was unable to determine the nature of the object mounted on the tripod, and positively identify it as [either] an anti-tank missile, a mortar or a television camera.” Mendelblit also wrote that “In light of the reasonable conclusion reached by the tank crew and its superiors that the characters were hostile, and were carrying an object most likely to be a weapon, the decision to fire at the target… was sound…”

PCHR pointed out that its own investigations at the time of the incident proved beyond all reasonable doubt that Israeli Occupation Forces willfully killed journalist Shana’a and the three other civilians who died alongside him.

The letter from Brigadier General Avihai Mendelblit to Reuters concerned the second attack in Juhor al-Dik, which killed Fadel Shan’a, two children and a second adult civilian. According to investigations conducted by PCHR, Fadel Shana’a and his colleague, Wafa Abu Mezyed, a Reuters soundman, arrived at Juhor al-Dik area at 17:00, an hour after an IOF missile attack in the village had killed 9 Palestinian civilians, including 6 children. The two men were wearing bullet proof vests emblazoned with the word “PRESS.” In his eye-witness testimony to PCHR, Wafa Abu Mezyed stated:"

“When we arrived at Juhor al-Dik area at 5pm, the dead children had just been evacuated by ambulances… We filmed the site of the attack and then got back into our vehicle, which was daubed with the word REUTERS, and drove out of the village. We could see two tanks and a bulldozer, and we deliberately parked more than one and a half kilometers away from them for our own safety. Fadel got out of the jeep in order to continue filming… A small crowd of children gathered around us wanting to know what we were filming, and Fadel asked me to get out of the jeep too and shoo them away. I started to move the children out of his way. Fadel and I were standing just three meters apart when I heard an explosion. I saw Fadel and two of the boys fall to the ground. I threw myself on the ground too. From where I lay, I could see that Fadel and the two boys were dead and bleeding.”

Fadel Shana’a, 14-year-old Ahmed ‘Aaref Farajallah and 17-year-old Ghassan Khaled Abu ‘Otaiwi, were all killed by the shell fired by the IOF tank. Less than a minute later, the IOF tank fired a second shell that completely destroyed the REUTERS vehicle. Wafa Abu Mezyed saw two children flung into the air by the force of the second explosion, which killed another civilian, 22-year-old Khalil Isma’il Dughmosh.

PCHR condemned, in its statement, the Israeli Advocate-General’s response, but said it was not surprised as this reflected "the chronic failure of the State of Israel and its occupation forces to properly investigate hundreds of crimes they have committed against civilians in the OPT, including dozens of crimes against journalists."

In view of this and other failures, the centre called for the setting up of an Independent Investigation Commission as the IOF cannot be trusted to investigate the war crimes its troops commit against the Palestinian people, adding that the current investigations "are a means to cover war crimes and provide legal protection and impunity to those suspected of perpetrating such crimes," stressing the need to prosecute Israeli war criminals.

Finally PCHR expressed its concern that the response of the the Israeli Advocate-General in this case makes journalists easy and legitimate targets for IOF troops, especially when they are covering IOF incursions.

Public works ministry: Reconstruction of Gaza costs more than $2b

GAZA, (PIC)-- The ministry of public works in the PA government in Gaza has estimated the cost of reconstructing the Gaza Strip following the three weeks of Israeli war at 2.215 billion dollars.

Dr. Yousef Al-Mansi, the minister of public works, told a press conference on Wednesday in Gaza city that the amount was a preliminary estimation following the ministry's preliminary statistics and categorization of damage. He added that the sum also includes relief and shelter for civilians who were rendered homeless by the aggression.

He pointed out that 5000 families had lost their homes and furniture completely and each needs around 10000 dollars for a period of one year.

He added that the homes of 6000 families were partially damaged but could not be used for residence and those families lost part of their furniture. He explained that they needed around 5000 dollars for one year.

The minister said that 10000 families had their homes damaged but could be rebuilt and are in need of 3000 dollars for a year.

Mansi said that 20000 housing units were totally destroyed and needed 250 million dollars for reconstruction while the government buildings, institutions and clubs needed 8 million dollars for reconstruction. The Gaza airport and harbor need 10 million dollars to repair the damage they sustained, he elaborated.

A sum of 40 million dollars was needed to rebuild schools, kindergartens and universities destroyed in the war, he said, adding that another sum of 55 million dollars was needed to rehabilitate destroyed factories, workshops and civil defense facilities.

The minister underlined that the infrastructure projects, electricity, water and sewage, need 55 million dollars while another sum of 40 million dollars was needed to reconstruct greenhouses and animal farms and their factories.

Mansi hailed all efforts exerted to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza, but said that they would not be practicable without opening all crossings without any restrictions.

Those efforts should be in coordination with the Palestinian government in Gaza in its capacity as the main party concerned with the reconstruction, adding that those who severed salaries of civil servants (Ramallah government) could not be entrusted with the reconstruction funds.

Jordanian doctors returning from Gaza: 90% of injuries from phosphorus bombs

AMMAN, (PIC)-- The Jordanian medical team that returned from the Gaza Strip told a press conference in Amman on Tuesday that 90% of injuries suffered by Palestinians in the Israeli occupation forces' aggression were from the white phosphorus bombs.

Members of the team said that the IOF used internationally banned weapons in the war on Gaza, which earned Israeli leaders a deserved international arbitration for "war crimes".

Norwegian medical experts, who previously worked in Afghanistan and Lebanon and finally in Gaza, asserted that the injuries were the result of non-conventional, internationally banned weapons, the Jordanian doctors underlined.

They added that the Norwegian doctors took samples of the injuries to check them in Norway, and would issue a report and document their findings before providing them as evidence in the trial of the Israeli war criminals.

Jordanian doctors also said they took with them samples of the wounded people's tissues to check them. They added that clinical diagnosis proved that white phosphorus was used in the Israeli attacks, noting that white smoke was seen emanating from the open wounds of the injured persons after being hit with shrapnel of white phosphorus bombs.

Dr. Zuhair Abu Fares, the head of the Jordanian syndicate of doctors, said that his syndicate was going to send a third medical delegation in the required specializations to Gaza including experts in artificial limbs.

The first medical team that returned from Gaza grouped 8 doctors while the second team, which is currently in Gaza, included 24 doctors, a dentist and a paramedic.
