Awad: The Palestinian people will not allow anyone to waive their rights

GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Mohamed Awad, the secretary-general of the Palestinian cabinet, stated that the Palestinian people and government would not allow anyone to give up the Palestinian rights and constants which are guaranteed by all international conventions. In a speech delivered on behalf of premier Ismail Haneyya during a ceremony held to commemorate the 61st anniversary of the Nakba (usurpation of Palestine), Dr. Awad stressed that all countries of the free world and the UN have to recognize the Palestinian rights and enable the Palestinian people to restore their rights. The Palestinian official underlined that despite the elapse of more than six decades of massacres, displacement, suppression, starvation and blockade, the Palestinian people's determination would not soften and would remain adherent to their rights to return to their homeland.
